Sleeping Cat: Jaguar XJ200 (16x24 only)
Developed alongside Tom Wilkinshaw Racing, the Jaguar XJ220 is one of the most dichotomous supercars ever created. Unveiled at the British International Motor Show as a 6.2L V12, Jaguar accepted nearly 1,500 orders of the car, ensuring its production. However, strict environmental regulations and the longer, heavier engine and chassis meant the car wouldn't meet emissions requirements with the power output necessary. Engineering changes saw a lighter, shorter 3.5L twin-turbo V6 put into the production XJ200, of which just 275 were produced. Still, the 540 hp is seen as one of the most potent supercars ever created: in 1992, it held the record for the fastest supercar ever produced (343.560 km/h (213.478 mph) before being superceded by the McLaren F1, and held the Nürburgring production car lap record from 1992 to 2000 with a time of 7:46.36.
